If you want to travel from one Gili to another, there are 3 good options. You can either use the public slow boat service, the public fast boat service or arrange a private speed boat.
What ever you choose you will have a good day!
1. Gili Island Hopping Public Slow Boat
The public boats between the 3 Gili Islands run twice a day. Around 9am in the morning and then again around 3pm in the afternoon.
Depending on which island you go to, the tickets range from 25.000 IDR to 50.000 IDR per ticket. Tickets can be bought directly at the harbour ticket office before your journey.
Listed price should not be more then 50,000 IDR. These departures may be affected by weather and quantity of passengers, so it is always advisable to arrive at the beach early and also to be prepared to wait for delayed departure.
- Morning Schedule: Gili Air 8:30am – Gili Meno 8:45am – Gili T 9:00am then departs Gili T 9:30am – Gili Meno 9:45am – Gili Air 10am
- Afternoon Schedule: Gili Air 3pm – Gili Meno 3:15pm – Gili T 3:30pm then departs Gili T 4pm – Gili Meno 4:15pm – Gili Air 4:30pm
2. Gili Island Hopping Public Speed Boat
The public speedboat runs almost every hour between all three Gili’s. Tickets are 85.000 IDR per person one way no matter to which Gili you’re going to.
Make sure you ask for the public speedboat tickets. At Gili Air and Gili Meno these tickets can be bought at the local harbour ticket office, whereas in Gili Trawangan these tickets should be bought from the small ticket office close to the jetty.

3. Gili Island Hopping Private Speed Boat
If you prefer to travel between the three Gili islands in your own private speedboat, simply go to the harbour and ask around for one of the speedboats to take you or arrange with www.giliboatticket.com.
Of course it is more expensive to hire your private speed boat but if you are a group going it can be great fun.
The price is around 300.000 – 350.000 IDR per boat one way.
