It is not just cheap to eat @ night market, it is also a lot of fun!
At the pier on Gili Trawangan at around 5.30PM the locals will set up food stalls every night where you can try some freshly BBQ cooked Indonesian food.
They have almost anything here from Nasi Goreng, sates to vegetarian delicacies.
After a few visit you will find your favorite food stand.
You can also get fresh fish cooked right in front of you. It’s a great night out and the big PLUS here is that it is so cheap. Those budget travellers should come here every night, although most local restaurants on Trawangan are fairly well priced.
A good idea is to wash your hands before you eat just in case you decide to eat some with your hands.
Never blame the food for when you get a stomach bug.
The bacterial come from your hands. Not from the food.
